What is Bootcamp Connect?
Bootcamp Connect (formerly known as Westside Adventure Boot Camp) is a four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training in Santa Monica, CA.
This program has been specifically designed with the 35+ crowd in mind. It is the bootcamp workout for anyone who has ever wanted to try one but been afraid to do so. I call it the Anti-Bootcamp Bootcamp. You’ll work hard and see results but in a nurturing, supportive and encouraging environment. We create camaraderie not competition. There are no whistles, no barking orders, no drill sergeant, no judgement.
In BC you will CONNECT to…Body, Mind, Soul, Breath, Nature and Community.
BC utilizes the revolutionary Mindful Fitness Flow system, a holistic integration of full body circuit training, yoga, and meditation. Classes are kept small…maximum 10 people, so they have a group personal training feel.
Whether you are a beginner, need to lose 10+ pounds, or are just tired of the same routine, come try this whole new approach to exercise where we lift, stretch, condition and play our way fit!
What does a typical week in Bootcamp Connect look like?
Each day of the week has a different focus and uses different equipment:
MONDAYS: Full Body Circuit Training with Bodyweight, Battle Ropes, Kettlebells etc
TUESDAYS: Sport Yoga
WEDNESDAYS: Full Body Circuit Training with Dumbbells
THURSDAYS: Sport Yoga
FRIDAYS: Full Body Circuit Training with Resistance Bands.
1. Circuit Training
Mon/Wed/Fri are devoted to full body circuit training. Each and every workout will include strength training, cardio, core/abs, stretching. CLICK HERE for a sample workout.
T/Th are devoted to yoga at the beach. These classes are a dynamic fusion of Vinyasa Flow and Sports Functionality interwoven into an energizing sequence incorporating strength, flexibility, mobility, endurance and balance. Classes are suitable for all levels. CLICK HERE for a sample class
Holistic Health is so much more than being physically fit. Your mind and soul also factor in and meditation is a simple practice to address these areas. All first-time campers will be given FREE access to my 3-Minute Meditations program and encouraged to participate in the 28-Day Challenge throughout their first camp. Where is the location we will meet?
Mon/Wed/Fri we meet in Palisades Park at 850 Ocean Ave (in Santa Monica, CA) just North of Idaho Ave…directly across from the Oceana Hotel.
Tues/Thurs we meet at Santa Monica Beach, we meet on the Strand by lifeguard tower 26 (near Ocean Park Blvd). 2600 Barnard Way…just south of Ocean Park Blvd.

What if I’m not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.
What types of exercises are included in the program?
Exercises include: core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!
How often will we meet?
Participants will meet every Monday through Friday for 50 minutes during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time.
When does the next Bootcamp Connect Start?
What do I need to bring?
An exercise mat, small hand weights (3-8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at Bentons in the Palisades or any local sporting goods store.
What can I achieve from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you’ll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you’ll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.

You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $229. That’s twenty hours of instruction! It averages out to just $11.45 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services – this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.
